Jewish East Europe is more than a destination, it is an insight into the living history of East European Jewry. It is a unique combination of the past and present allowing visitors to literally step between the lifestyles of the twentieth and the nineteenth and earlier centuries. Minsk, Belarus, for example is a modern city rebuilt from the almost total destruction of the Second World War. Within an hour's ride into the countryside, however, you can visit shtetls much like the ones from which our families came. You can see and experience the past as a living legacy.

We offer a bespoke service

It begins with an email and a conversation. Each family’s history is unique and so must be the arrangements for your trip. In many ways heritage

trips are more like expeditions than mere tours; adventures into your family’s past. Accordingly it is important for us to understand, in depth, what is important for you and what you hope to experience and discover. Once you contact us I will be glad to call to personally discuss your plans.

We are good at listening, and we are happy to share our own opinions and experience gained from more than 20 years of helping people plan their ancestral visits.

We are also happy to speak with relatives and friends who may not be travelling with you but wish to advise and share in your plans.

We will create a detailed itinerary. It will be clear what is included and what is not. It will include costings and give you an overview of your trip.

We make all the reservations and other arrangements. Although minor tweaks and additions are not a problem, we want to plan the perfect trip for you.
